Chico Insulation was founded in 2022 by a small team of insulation specialists who grew up in the northern Sacramento Valley and understood firsthand what Chico summers do to an under-insulated home. When it is 106 degrees outside and your upstairs rooms are ten degrees hotter than the rest of the house, you know the problem is in the attic, not the thermostat.

The business started with residential attic and crawl space work in Chico and the surrounding neighborhoods. Over time, the team expanded its services to include spray foam insulation, vapor barriers, air sealing, and commercial insulation work across more than a dozen cities in the region. Chico is home base, but we have worked on homes from Redding in the north to Fairfield in the south.

The housing stock in this part of California is older than most people realize. A lot of the homes we work in were built in the 1950s through 1970s, when insulation requirements were minimal. After the 2018 Camp Fire displaced so many families into Chico, the demand for home improvements increased sharply. We stayed focused on doing good work for homeowners who needed practical solutions, not upsells. That has not changed.
