Johns Manville
Johns Manville has revolutionized the building insulation industry by introducing an entire line of formaldehyde-free fiber glass building
insulation. JM Formaldehyde-free insulation provides the same high-quality
thermal and acoustical properties as conventional JM fiber glass just
without the formaldehyde-based binder. Why? Because it ’s a smart
thing to do for our customers and the environment. Formaldehyde has
traditionally been used as part of the binder in fiber glass insulation.
Although there is no health risk with the traditional product, formaldehyde at
higher levels may cause irritation and sensitivity. JM Formaldehyde-free
building insulation utilizes an innovative new acrylic binder that eliminates
binder-related formaldehyde emissions during manufacturing and, once installed,
will not off-gas formaldehyde in the indoor environment. No formaldehyde
means fewer things to worry about. Visit us at www.jm.com
for more information.

Napoleon
It all began in 1976 when a small steel fabrication business started by
Wolfgang Schroeter began manufacturing steel railings in Barrie, Ontario,
Canada. At that time, no one imagined the incredible future that lay ahead for
Wolf Steel Ltd. And eventually .... Napoleon Fireplaces and Gas Grills.
Since the first woodstove rolled off the production line in 1979, Wolf Steel’s
commitment to success was to be distinctive and successful in everything they
do. The original stove featured a solid cast iron two-door design and was
produced in a one thousand square foot manufacturing facility. By 1981, the name
"Napoleon" was born and with it, the first single glass door . . . a first
in the industry . . . using Pyroceram high temperature ceramic glass and a cast
iron frame, the first of many milestones for Wolf Steel. Over the next few
years, the demand for Napoleon’s woodstoves grew beyond Ontario’s borders,
and representatives throughout Canada and the United States were appointed to
facilitate sales.
Napoleon’s commitment of producing quality products combined with honest,
reliable service has proven to be a successful theory in ensuring the continued
rapid growth of the company. Visit us at www.napoleon.on.ca.
